March 2012 Prayer Letter

On March 1st we were able to leave the capital and return to our home in the north-eastern part of the country. We praise the Lord for the healthy birth of our baby girl, for the successful surgery to remove my wife’s gallbladder and for a safe return to our home. The Lord has continued to watch over and guide us in the past two months as we have been living in China.

We want to praise the Lord for taking care of all our needs and thank you for allowing the Lord to use many of you to help meet our needs over the past couple months. We had many extra and unexpected expenses, and though we didn’t directly request for any extra finances, our support was up over the past two months, so much so that every need was met, not having to go in debt at all! Thank you!

During our final time in Beijing we were able to meet-up with more missionary families, visit another ministry and I was able to continue in my Chinese Bible reading. I have now finished about twenty-four and a half of the twenty-seven New Testament books. Using this extra time in Bible reading has tremendously helped my language abilities over the past couple months.

Now that we have returned home, we are exciting about getting back involved in the ministry. I have already started language school again and my wife will start after she fully recovers from the surgery and pregnancy.

I also have been given the privilege to teach a Sunday school class at the church geared towards reaching the guy college students. I am excited about this opportunity, praying the Lord will do great and mighty things for His name sake.

Brethren, please continue to pray for our language abilities, ministry opportunities, boldness, and for the upcoming months as there will be much going on. Pray for God to raise up five men or families to come and join us here in China. Also, pray the Lord will raise up three Chinese men that will surrender to the ministry and give all to the Lord.

Concerning the two churches that are being planted, they are doing well. We have about 60% of the funds needed to help these Churches during their first year. If you would like to be involved, you can give online at or you can send donations to Project China, P.O. Box 442, Alpharetta, GA, 30009, Note: “China Church Planting”.

Thank you for being a part of our team, Project China, with your prayers and financial support!

P.S. A new 2012 family picture is available upon request. You can email your request and we will provided you with a digital copy.
