December 2012 Prayer Letter

We arrived safely in the U.S.A. on December 7th. We we will be here until the first week of March. We are enjoying seeing family and friends, as well as, visiting churches.

Before we left China, we had some great witnessing opportunities. I had the opportunity to give the gospel in my class at the university. Also, we had an outreach “Christmas” party in which we shared the true meaning of Christmas. As a gift, we gave everyone who came a free bible!

In preparation to leave, we had to deal with a cult that recently moved into our area. Pray for the believers there that they will resist this false teaching.

Also, we were privileged to have a Chinese pastor come and teach out last bible study of the year.

Our plan is to start a church when we return to China next year. In the last few months we have been able to lay the following ground work: (1) Find a strategic location. (2) Build a list of contacts. (3) Mobilize a man to help us start the work.

Please be in prayer as we travel here in the states. We have much planned. Pray the God will raise more laborers to preach the gospel in China.

Thank you for being a part of our team, Project China, with your prayers and financial support!

P.S. In preparation for the church plant, we are raising $7,500 for the initial cost of planting the church. Gifts have already been given to take care of the rent for the year and we are at 33% of our goal. If you would like to help out financially with this new church plant, you can send all gifts to: Project China, P.O. Box 442, Alpharetta, GA, 30009, Note: “China Church Planting”.
