City Outreach (Day 3)

Today was the last day of our outreach with the group.

We had another great service this morning. We had two visitors join us. One was the old man next door who thought our singing was too loud yesterday. He brought his own chair and bible! He said someone gave him a bible 7 years ago and he has kept it this whole time. The other person was an older lady, I am not sure how she heard about the meeting.

After the service we went out on the streets with religious surveys. We asked people if they would take the survey and then after they finished it we asked them if they would be interested in learning more about Christianity. If they were, we got their information. We were even able to enter the dorms and go door-to-door. I will be going through all the survey’s and follow up in the coming weeks. Also, we passed out business cards for the church and gave bibles to those who seemed especially interested.

The afternoon was free time for the group and they were able to enjoy some down time.

Over the past three days we were able to give out several thousands cards for the church. I already received one phone call from one of the cards on someone’s door.

We are so thankful and humbled by the churches coming and helping us. The churches paid their own way and we didn’t have to pay for anythings except the material that we handed out (Business Cards, Flyers, Bibles).

The Lord has been good to us and we are excited to see how the Lord is going to continue working!

Thank you for laboring with us in prayer.

Met you & your family the 1st Sunday night of your “divine appt.” @ Calvary Bapt. Church in Macon, Ga. We’re praying for you in our services during your time of adjustment & “planting the seed”. Read your e-mails and are so blessed. Give the girls a big hug for me!
