April 2015 Prayer Letter

We are looking forward to that blessed hope when the Lord comes to take us home and live with Him in eternal joy! Until then, we are trying to be busy serving our King and fulfilling His mandate of world evangelism.

Giving Opportunity Update: Thank you! We had all the money come in that was needed for the church rent. You have been a blessing to this young church, and I know that the Lord will use it to see even greater things done here in the city. Since we have been able to rent the building, the church has grown, and the current offerings are enough to cover the rent. We couldn’t have done this without your help!

Church Update: The church is growing! We had one of our highest Sundays on Easter and saw one man baptized. Also, we had a few more join in membership recently. We have even been talking about renting another room next to us if the opportunity arises. Pray for wisdom as we make these decisions. Our English service is also doing well, and we have a few foreigners. Please be in prayer with us for their salvation.

My wife has been a huge help with starting a ladies Bible study and helping with the music in the church. I am very proud and thankful for her.

We are starting several 10-week outreach Bible studies this month, and we ask that you be in prayer with us to see many more people come to Christ over the next 10+ weeks.

Internship: An intern from our home church arrived near the end of March, and he will be with us for the next six months or so. He has done a great job so far, quickly adapting to the culture, working hard at the language and getting involved serving the church. Pray for him as he learns, grows, and leads several outreach activities.

Will you be like the young man who is interning with us now, forsaking other worldly occupations to give your all to help the Chinese people hear and understand the gospel? Will you come?

Thank you! We know that we couldn’t do anything without the help of God’s people. Thank you for giving, praying, and being a part of our team, Project China.
