June 2015 Prayer Letter

As summer is approaching, we are expecting God to do great things in our lives and ministry. What an honor we have to serve the Almighty God!

Last month I reported about the ten-week Bible studies that we were in the process of starting as an outreach opportunity for our church. Six of the hopeful seven Bible studies have been started. Each Bible study has had different results. Some are meeting just one-on-one, and others are meeting in groups. Some of the leaders are discouraged, and some are encouraged. We haven’t had anyone from the groups make a decision yet, but several are interested, and each leader has been successful in giving the gospel to an unbeliever. That is very exciting!

This month we have two key young men in our church who will be leaving because they found work in other cities. One of the men has been with me from the beginning of the Bible study that we started before it became a church. He has become a great student of the word. He has been a Sunday school teacher and helped with the finances. The other young man was saved and baptized in our church and became a fervent evangelist. He helped as a Sunday school teacher’s assistant and played the guitar during our worship time. We will miss them.

Even though we are having some leave, we are also seeing God bring more people to us. This past month we had two new people who have be attending for a while decide to become church members. Also, a couple who was invited to our kids’ club by the intern, Kanon, came to the kids’ club. They met a lady in our church who invited them to another Bible study and long story short, they recently made a profession of faith. We are excited to do more follow up with them in the coming months. God is working and we are exited to be a part of it.

Thank you! We know that we couldn’t do anything without the help of God’s people. Thank you for giving, praying, and being a part of our team, Project China.
