September 2015 Prayer Letter

The grace of God in our lives is a constant reminded of how great He is and what a wonderful privilege we have to be in a relationship with Him. He never gives up on us and loves us through every stage of life we enter. It is this kind of love and this kind of grace that can only come from the true God. It is this God that we desire to proclaim to the nations; to the millions in China who have yet to hear.

English Outreach: We have been trying several different ideas to use English as an outreach to meet people and teach them the Bible. Each activity has worked to help us in reaching those goals. But with a new stage of life for our family and with the few amount of workers we have, we decided to consolidate all of our ideas into a one-time-a-week English activity that combined different elements from the other three activities we were hosting (English Worship, English Corner, and Kid’s Club). So far, we have had a great response with over 70 people in attendance at the first one and over 50 returning the following week for this outreach. Pray for souls to be saved!

Tracts: We produced and printed our first full-color tract in Chinese. We were able to order 1,000 tracts from a printer online for about $23.

Director Visit: We were also blessed to be visited by our mission board director and his wife. They were a huge encouragement to use during the time they were here. Jeff was able to preach three times on Sunday and his wife taught during one of the ladies meetings. They helped with several ideas and are great friends.

Internship: Kanon has been interning with us for almost six months now and will be returning this month to start full-time deputation, and to be married next month. He has done a great job and is worthy of support. At his last service here several stood and gave testimony, thanking him for bringing them to church for the first time, studying the Bible with them, or introducing them to someone who taught them about the Bible.

God is Faithful: As we enter into the fall season, we thank God for what He did over the summer. It was a trying time for us, but through it all God has been faithful, and we are starting to see more fruit as He grows us and grows His work.

Thank you! We know that we couldn’t do anything without the help of God’s people. Thank you for giving, praying, and being a part of our team, Project China.
