December 2015 Prayer Letter

Merry Christmas! We are enjoying the holidays here in China, and we are seeing God bless His work as we move forward with the gospel.

This month, please join us in the following praises and prayer requests:

  • Praise the Lord that the kids’ club is growing, and we are reaching out to new families, many who have visited the church as a result of the club. Please pray for a Christmas outreach we are planning to do for the kids club at the end of the month.
  • Praise the Lord for the new salvations. Two young men have made salvation decisions recently. One has already been baptized and joined the church. The other will be getting baptized this coming Sunday. That makes three young men the Lord has saved in the past six months. All are attending church faithfully. Praise the Lord!
  • Pray for two new activities that we have going on. On Friday nights, we are meeting with young men at the church to build relationships with them. On Wednesday night, we are trying to start a Bible class for those who are interesting in taking the next step or just learning more about the Bible. Pray for young men to be raised up from these and called out to full-time ministry.
  • We had a wonderful Thanksgiving service with over forty people in attendance. I preached a gospel message and several gave testimony of how they are learning from the Bible and want to continue to learn more. We also had a wonderful time of fellowship and thanksgiving dinner with our Chinese and American teammates. Praise the Lord for the team He has given us!
  • Praise the Lord that our health has improved. We are still dealing with particular issues, but we have improved significantly and are functioning better now. Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray for our health.
  • Pray as we are trying to raise an additional $250 of monthly support. We are attempting to replace the loss of some funding over the past year. God has faithfully taken care of us, and we are trusting Him for each day’s need.

Thank you! We know that we couldn’t do anything without the help of God’s people. Thank you for giving, praying and being a part of our team, Project China.
