December 2009 Prayer Letter

November was a great month in which many of us took time to remember God’s goodness in our lives. Our family, especially, has so much to be thankful for. He has kept us safe over the past eleven months as we have travelled thousands of miles and has continually poured out His blessings on our lives. We are so thankful for the God of heaven and His working in our lives. There is nothing more exciting than serving Him!

We have some very exciting news this month! There will now be four of us leaving for China next year instead of three! We are very excited to announce that we are expecting another baby around June 27th. We were initially planning to leave for China in the Spring, but it looks like we will now be looking at leaving in the fall. This will allow us to raise more support that we will need. Everything is in the Lord’s timing, and we praise Him for this opportunity!

Prayer Request: Pray for my wife; she has been sick lately due to the pregnancy. Our host families and churches have been great over the past few weeks…thanks for understanding and caring.

Let me also encourage you to stay up-to-date with our blog. Our blog is a great way to stay connected, since there are new posts just about every week. You will find everything from articles and devotionals to family news and ministry updates. You can visit www.projectchina.org/blog to find out more information and to subscribe via email or RSS.

Finally, we would like to say “Thank you!” We have been so blessed on deputation! Churches have treated us better than we deserve; people have sacrificially given, fed us meals, provided places for us to stay, and loaded us with gifts. We are truly overwhelmed by the love of God’s people! Thank You for being a part of our team, Project China.
