“I will love thee, O LORD, my strength”

These verses encouraged my soul this morning:

“I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised:” (Psalm 18:1-3a)

Lord, I love You, because You first loved me. You are my strength and my rock! When life comes at me suddenly, I know I have a solid and sure foundation in You. I have strength to overcome and move forward. You are my fortress and in Thee do I trust. You protect and keep me in Your impenetrable hands. You will deliver me out of trials and temptations. Lord, You are my GOD! My salvation lays solely in the work of Your Son on the cross of calvary! Lord, You and You alone are worthy to be praised!

“The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.” (Psalm 18:46)

“Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.” (Psalm 18:49)
