Update on our Baby 4-9-10

We had another doctor’s appointment yesterday. There was little change in the news. The baby has stopped growing and the heart beat is still very slow compared to what it should be (meaning it is not developing right). The ultrasound showed no improvements. My wife is scheduled to be induced and give labor to the baby on May 26th, as long as it does not pass before then.

Also, we made arrangements with the funeral home, who offered us their services for free, and purchased an infant burial plot at the cemetery.

Thank you for your continued prayers during this time. The Lord truly has given grace and peace during this time.

    Dear Mark and Natasha,

We have been praying for you since you presented your ministry at our church. We will continue to pray for you, especially as you prepare for the delivery.

    Ps 46:
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present* help introuble.
2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah

Psa. 46:4    There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.
6 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
8   Come, behold the works of the LORD, how he has brought desolations on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire.
10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

    Grace to you!

My Brother and Sister in Christ. Words can not tell you the remorse we have for your family. God's ways are not our ways, He makes no mistakes, but I know I ask why (too often) of which He justs tells me “trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding.” I am glad I do not know tomorrow, but I know HIM who does…HIS ways are perfect to which my foolish mind can not comprehend except only to doubt. It is one thing to quote a verse but sure is different living them. We pray God grace and love over you now and over the next weeks…praise Him for his goodness to the children of men…

Just a note to let you know that we have (and will) carried your names up to the Lord in our prayers. Some of the words of an old poem come to mind this morning…
“My Father's way may twist and turn
my heart may throb and ache,
but in my soul, I'm glad I know
    He maketh no mistake.
There's so much now I cannot see,
    my eyesight's far too dim.
But come what may I'll simply trust
and leave it all to Him.
For by and by the mist will lift
and plain it all He'll make.
Through all the way though dark to me,
    He made not one mistake.”
If we can help in any way you have only to give us a call.
    (Isaiah 41:10)

    Dear Bro. and Mrs. Tolson,

Me and my children are constantly praying for you and your baby. We love you!

The following are lines taken from songs that encourages me to keep on keeping on (k.o.k.o) during the darkest times of my life. Hope these will be an encouragement to you too.

“Lean on Me when your heart is getting weak, when you feel you're going under hold tighter to My hand, lean on Me when you have no strength to stand when you've come to place that I'm all you have then you'll find I'm all you need.”

“If you don't understand, if you can't see His hand, trust His heart.”

“Even in the valley God is good even in the valley He is faithful and true, He carries His children through like He said He would, in my darkest valley God is good.”

“God wants to hear you sing when the flames of life is burning, when the fiery darts are firing God wants to hear your voice……………..God wants to hear you sing.”

“Embrace the cross, where Jesus suffered though it will cost all you claim that's yours, your sacrifice would seem small beside the treasure, eternity can't measure what Jesus holds in store…..embrace the Lamb the cross requires.., cling to the One whose heart grows everyday, receive from Jesus fountains of compassion, only He can fashion your heart to rule as His……oh wondrous Cross our desires rest in You oh Lord Jesus make us bolder, to face with courage the shame and disgrace You bore upon Your shoulder..embrace the life that comes from dying, come trace the steps the Savior walked for you, an empty tomb concluded all sorrow, endured until tomorrow the cross of suffering…embrace the cross the cross of Jesus…….”

    Love and prayers,

    Mrs. Lorena I. Kaing
