November/December 2008 Prayer Letter

We officially started part-time deputation in August of this year, and we are looking forward to being full-time in January. We have been working at Vision Baptist Church since its conception in 2006, and one of the reasons we are on part-time deputation is because we are still finishing up our work there. We are currently only traveling on Wednesday nights and midweek meetings while still attending and serving in all the services (Sunday Morning, Evening, and Thursday Midweek) at Vision.

In November, I had the privilege of baptizing Nikki Insisiengmay. Nikki’s family came to our church about a year and a half ago. I had the opportunity of leading her father to the Lord and baptizing him, and since then, her parents have been active members in the International Bible Fellowship, which I have had the privilege of teaching. This past summer at Vacation Bible School, Nikki accepted Christ as her Savior. It has been an honor to work with this family in the International Bible Fellowship each week. I will be turning the class over starting in January.

We had another great month of meetings:

  • Carson Memorial Baptist Church: Richard Mansell, Kings Mountian, NC
  • Mt. Zion Baptist Church: Cecil Robinson, Asheville, NC
  • Gateway Baptist Church: Ross Sparks, Cleveland, GA

We were also able to drop into two camp meetings and a preachers fellowship.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support.
